  • SEELRC Summer Institute 2002

    The third annual Summer Institute for Instructors of Slavic and East European Languages took place from July 8-17, 2002 on the campuses of Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

    Topics included:

    • the use of technology in the language classroom,
    • using computer technologies to create pedagogical materials,
    • teaching film and culture,
    • integrating heritage students in the classroom,
    • creating accessible materials for all students in the classroom and on the internet,
    • internet resources for Slavic and East European language teachers, and
    • sharing of participants' ideas and experiences, including the development of a personal project during the course of the Institute.
